What is the difference between an escorted tour and an independent tour?
Independent coach tours - are comprised of different coach legs that we stitch together to help you travel around New Zealand in the easiest way possible. In doing this, sometimes we end up with a mixture of coaches that have a tour guide (GreatSights coaches) and standard InterCity coaches that do not have any tour element on them and just take you from A-B. It also means that each day you will have a different driver and passengers on your coaches. Read more here.
Escorted coach tours - offer a stress-free way to enjoy New Zealand. Everything is arranged for you, allowing you to simply sit back in a comfortable coach, and let your knowledgeable hosts show you around New Zealand.
