Puhoi
In 1863, 83 immigrants arrived at Puhoi from Bohemia, around 100km from Prague. With them they brought a hard working ethic and soon put the land to good use. Their influence can still be seen today with in the church and other buildings in the region. A more recent landmark is the Puhoi pub, a two storey colonial style watering hole that attracts many passers by in the summer months. It houses a collection of memorabilia and old photographs of the region.
